Electronic ID Card

Thats only possible when the app works. Im sitting at a drs office now and cant pull my card for them. Lets hope I dont get billed since Aetna wouldnt send me a literal ID card. Thanks for nothing

Horrible!

For the billions Aetna rakes in every year, youd think they could hire someone to design a better app and web site? Searching for providers is time consuming and almost always never works. Same thing for looking up medication prices. Just plain garbage!

Highly inconvenient

It wont remember login details. I have to login EVERY time I use the app??? Very mobile unfriendly. And if my family members need to use it, why should I need to give them my credentials. I should just be able to set it up and forget about it.

Painful

Please remember my credentials. Touch ID support would be awesome. At least remember my username. Often links are unresponsive and do nothing. Often sluggish. Pretty outdated look and feel. Current claims seems arbitrary.

Abandonware

It is becoming clear that Aetna has abandoned this app. This app is only in the App Store so that Aetna management can pretend they have a mobile strategy without the expense of actually having one. If this app were maintained it would have incorporated iOS 8 TouchID authentication from 2 years ago and it would have been optimized for iPhone 6/6+. At the very minimum it would allow you to copy and paste a password. At this point I doubt my review even matters. Aetna clearly doesnt care.

Mr

HORRIBLE!!! It continuously crashes!! Please do something!!

So bad!

For me, this app is worthless. I cant even access my ID cards without it crashing or freezing.

This app is a disease.

I literally felt sicker after attempting to use this app. One of the worst designed and non-functioning piece of garbage Ive ever seen. All I want is to find a doctor because I am coughing up a ton of mucus, and this app cant even help me find one. It literally says "none found" when I enter "general practice" within 100 miles of downtown Chicago (60101- I entered the zip code). I will probably die from pneumonia or some other pulmonary disease before this app actually helps someone. Not me- just someone/anyone. Quite honestly, I would be better off and have more success if I went door to door asking if a doctor lives there than I would continuing to attempt to use this mess.

Not that horrible

A lot of people here are saying how bad this app is, and maybe I just got lucky, but it has worked SO FAR for me. Since they wont send me a actual card in the mail ( which is insane) I had to download this app to get my is card info. I had to register which was quick, and then I could pull up my card. Beyond pulling up my ID card, Im not sure how useful the app will be. But it serves the purpose I needed it too. Obviously from all the other reviews my guess is they have a lot of work to do on this app, so they need to make it better. Thankfully it worked for me though.

This app is too worst

Search is awkward. I search for one and get the other. I work in health care. The other competitors are better in technology and services and the mobile app or website. I cant change because my employer provided it.

Not worth it

Trying to log in and it tells me it doesnt recognized my username and password. Try to recover username and it asks for the answer I provided at registration but doesnt give me a question. If I dont remember my password do you think I remember a random word!?

Error

Unable to login, before login popup says "the network connection was lost"

Is there a cure for this app?

You would think a company that charges so much for insurance might have some cash to invest in a decent app. Apparently not. 2 stars because I can actually log in and view my ID card but other than that, search functionality is useless, no EOBs, no clear description of plan benefits. Stick to the full website, which itself leaves a lot to be desired.

Winner of the worst application ever.

Have you managed to find the worst application on the App Store? Well think twice, this one is worst than that one you thought first: if you try to find an urgent care and are REALLY on an emergency, its easier to die than to find the right urgent care through this application. Definitely giving this app one star is giving it more than it deserves. Worst insurance application ever.

Doesnt work

Just downloaded it to get my ID card and it doesnt even work. Its just blank. This is pretty bad... Not helpful at all.

Decent app could be better

I like the app overall, but it would be extremely helpful if you could click on a bill and it would show you if it was paid or not.

No QA whatsoever

Pharmacy purchase new credit card window is missing a field to input security code. And the missing security code triggers "unable to verify" message. Great job, developers.

Functionally, it works

After reading the reviews here, I was shocked to find it functionally sound. My only complaint thus far is the aesthetic of the app. Sheesh. It is ugly to look at. I agree with the other comments regarding the apparent abandonment of this app by Aetna. After using the MyCigna app last year, this was definitely a step down.

App is beyond terrible

This app has logged me out every 5 seconds even after deleting and reinstalling. The UI is just plain terrible and half the buttons do not work. Please utilize other big insurance groups to see what they do and use this as an example.

Terrible app

This app is horrible. Its clear that Aetna had clearly has abandoned this app. Not worth downloading!
